What we do

Four disciplines under one contractor.

Most jobs on this coast touch more than one trade. A panel upgrade turns into a generator interlock, a camera run needs its own circuit, a shop rewire wants network drops in the same walls. Brent Moulaison is certified in all four, which keeps one crew on site and one number to call.

An open residential load centre with breakers labelled and the circuit directory filled in, installed on a Yarmouth County home.

Common questions

Before you call.

If yours is not on this list, ring the number and ask. Most questions get settled in a couple of minutes on the phone.

Do you charge for an estimate?

Estimates are free on electrical, solar, security and voice and data work. Call 902-774-0613 or send the form and we will arrange a time to look at the job.

How far do you travel?

Across Southwest Nova Scotia, covering Yarmouth County, Argyle, Barrington and Shelburne, and up through Clare, Weymouth and Digby. If you sit near the edge of that, call and ask.

Do you take emergency calls at night?

Yes, 24 hours a day. Call 902-774-0613 and describe what happened. If you can smell something hot, see arcing, or find water at the panel, shut off the main if you can reach it safely, then call.

What licensing do you hold?

Brent Moulaison holds a Journeyman Interprovincial Red Seal in the electrical trade, along with certification as a solar installer and designer, a data communications cabling specialist, and a security and surveillance professional.

Can you handle the solar and the electrical work together?

Yes. A grid tie install needs the array, the interconnection, and often a service or panel upgrade behind it. All of that stays in house, so one contractor carries the permit and the inspection.

Do you work on commercial and industrial sites?

Yes, along with institutional and marine. The work runs from plant maintenance and control circuitry through lighting retrofits and structured cabling.
